Colorado State Men's  Hockey

CSU Rams Partner with NCYH

The Colorado State University Men's DII hockey team will be skating with the NCYH Mites during Session 2 which runs from Jan 5 to March 5.  Players from CSU's team will join the Mites each Wednesday & Saturday (schedule permitting) to help teach skills and learn to love the sport of hockey.

CSU Head Coach Kelly Newton says "We are excited about the partnership we have with NCYH, they are the next generation of Ram Hockey fans and eventually our players.  Our guys are pumped about working with the NCYH Mites in the second half of the season.  It's a fun age group to get involved with, and a pleasure to teach and mentor the little guys."

In addition, this past December the NCYH Mites had the opportunity to skate during one of the games at the Great Western Classic Showcase hosted by CSU.

"Ten brave kids suited up for a skate for the ages.  Back and forth the play went, great passes, fast skating, and some wonderful plays leading to some awesome goals.  After the game, all the kids were sweating profusely and smiling from all the fun they just had.  It was a great experience for the kids that participated".  -- NCYH Coach Adam Visocky
