Player Commitments for 2011-12 Season

 

 

Zack Smoot, a native of Ft Collins CO , will be joining the Rams in the second semester of the 2011-12 season.  The 5'9", 175# Forward was the leading scorer for the Amarillo Jr 'A' Bulls of the NAHL last season.  In 58 games, Smoot amassed 24 G / 37 A / 75 PIM, and a +23 rating.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jackson Dorsey, a native of Boulder CO, played this past season with the El Paso Jr 'A' Rhinos of the WSHL.  The 6'2, 210# Defenseman was instrumental in El Paso's run to their second place finish at the USA Hockey National Tournament this year.  Jackson is a solid stay-at-home defenseman, he ended this season with 11 points, 55 PIM, and a +30 rating in 51 games.

 

 

Kevin O'Donnell, a native of Westminster CO,  Captained the Texas Jr 'A' Brahmas of the WSHL this past season.  In 48 games, the 6'1, 175# Forward tallied 31 Goals, 32 Assists, and 59 PIM.  Kevin played for the Rams in 2009-10, and is a welcome addition to the CSU Hockey program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bryan Brunton, a native of Colorado Springs, CO, played 3 seasons on the blueline with Saint Michael's College (NCAA DIII).  In 37 games, the 5'10", 197# Dman amassed 10pts / 79 PIM, and was a +22 in each season.  Prior to St. Michael's, Bryan played Cdn Jr 'A' in the AJHL (Brooks Bandits) and the SJHL (Kindersley Klippers).  Bryan's experience at these high levels of competition will be a huge asset to the Rams in their quest for an ACHA DivII National Title.
